Organic Sourdough and Artisan Bread in Noosa

At Organika, we believe real bread should be simple, nourishing, and full of life. Flour, water, salt, time. Nothing else. That is the soul of true sourdough.

Every loaf on our shelves tells a story of patient fermentation, careful hand shaping, and a deep respect for tradition. These are not factory-made breads pretending to be sourdough. They are the real thing, made slowly and naturally by people who love what they do.

And because every body is different, we also offer beautiful gluten free and paleo breads that celebrate the same values — quality ingredients, traditional methods, and incredible taste.

Whether you are reaching for a rustic country loaf, a seeded gluten free batard, or a nourishing paleo bread, you will find it here, made with integrity.

Where our breads come from

We proudly collaborate with a community of exceptional bakers who craft real bread the way it should be made:

Jeremiah's Crust
Crafted on a farm in the Noosa Hinterland, Jeremiah’s Crust specialises in sourdough made with organic flour, filtered water, and salt. Their loaves are fermented slowly and baked with care, creating deeply nourishing bread full of character.

Noosa Sourdough Co
Noosa Sourdough Co bakes authentic artisan loaves using traditional natural fermentation methods and high quality Australian flours. Their bread is known for its beautiful open crumb, bold flavour, and the lively tang that only comes from true sourdough fermentation.

Almond Road Bakery
From the Northern Rivers region, Almond Road Bakery handcrafts paleo and gluten free breads alongside slowly fermented traditional sourdoughs. Many of their loaves are made with certified organic flours and clean, wholefood ingredients to support a nourishing lifestyle.

Bread Eaters Association
Located in Noosa, Bread Eaters Association produces bold, rustic sourdough breads using freshly milled organic whole grains. With no commercial yeast, improvers, or preservatives, their loaves are a pure expression of slow fermentation and true craftsmanship.

Ten Acres Bakery
Working from their farm in Ninderry, Ten Acres Bakery creates sourdough breads and pastries using certified organic and sustainably grown local ingredients. Every loaf is naturally fermented and handmade with a deep respect for the land and its rhythms.

The Wonky Loaf
At The Wonky Loaf in Kuluin, every sourdough is slow-fermented using organic and sustainably sourced ingredients. Their breads celebrate imperfection, flavour, and the traditional art of wild fermentation.

Walters Artisan Bakery
Based in Nambour, Walters Artisan Bakery creates hand-shaped, long-fermented sourdough loaves. The breads we stock at Organika are made with certified organic flour, fermented naturally for better flavour, digestibility, and nourishment.

GF Precinct
GF Precinct specialises in handcrafted gluten free breads made in a dedicated gluten free bakery. Using premium wholefood ingredients, including certified organic flours wherever possible, they create gluten free breads that are full of integrity and flavour.

More than just sourdough

While sourdough is at the heart of our bread offering, we know it is not for everyone. That is why you will also find a carefully selected range of gluten free and paleo breads on our shelves.

We choose gluten free and paleo breads that are handmade, naturally fermented where possible, and free from unnecessary additives. These breads are made with the same respect for ingredients, time, and craft as our sourdoughs — because real food matters, no matter your needs.

Whether you follow a gluten free diet, prefer paleo principles, or simply want to explore new ways of nourishing yourself, you will find something beautiful here.

Why real bread matters

Real bread is slow bread. It is fermented naturally for better digestion. It is free from preservatives, fake yeasts, and unnecessary sugars. It is rich in flavour, nutrients, and soul.

At Organika, we believe good bread supports good health. By choosing handmade sourdough and artisan breads, we are nourishing not only ourselves but also the community of skilled bakers who keep these traditions alive.

You will taste the difference the moment you tear into a loaf.
