We press this green juice fresh each morning, and it’s become a bit of a quiet ritual for our community. A crisp, cooling, deeply nourishing way to start the day.
Here’s how to make it at home, just one tall glass at a time.
Makes 1 x 350ml serving
What You’ll Need
- 1/4 lemon, peeled
- 1 stalk of kale, stripped from stem
- 1 medium celery stalk
- A small handful of spinach (about 1/2 cup)
- 2 to 3 leaves of cos lettuce
- A few sprigs of parsley (about 1 tablespoon chopped)
- 1/3 cucumber (about 10 cm), chopped
- 1 small green apple (or half a large one), cored
Directions
Feed everything through a cold-press juicer in the order listed. If you're using a blender, add a splash of water, blend until smooth, and strain through a nut milk bag or fine mesh sieve.
Pour into a glass. Serve over ice if you like it chilled. Drink fresh.
Notes
This juice is a daily tonic. Gentle, green, and hydrating. The apple gives it a soft sweetness, while the lemon lifts the whole thing up.
Find it bottled and ready in our fridge at Organika if you're not in the mood to DIY.
